The president’s official merchandise website, shop.DonaldJTrump.com is selling football jerseys emblazoned with the words “Stand Up for America” on them.
The website is a joint venture paid for by the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, which is a joint fundraising committee authorized by and composed of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. and the Republican National Committee, according to the site.
The short-sleeved jerseys feature the number 45 on the front, and feature the president’s last name across the jersey’s backside. An American flag is patched onto the jersey’s sleeve.
The bright red jerseys — which are purportedly manufactured in the U.S. and come in men’s and women’s sizes — are being sold for $99 and range in sizes from small to 3XL.
The product was launched on Sept. 7, a day after the NFL regular season kicked off. The product also debuted just a day after Nike launched its latest campaign featuring former NFL player and activist Colin Kaepernick as its face.
To note, the NFL also sells its standard official team jerseys for $99.
According to Trump campaign spokesperson Lara Trump, sales have been “brisk.”
“Our theme originated out of President Trump’s love for the American flag and his fervent belief that Americans should always stand for our national anthem,” Lara said.
The website notes, “Due to high demand, please allow 4-5 weeks to receive your jersey.”Watch the latest video at foxnews.com
