Upper Iowa women's soccer team sends Dragons to defeat | INFORUM

MOORHEAD — Upper Iowa defeated Minnesota State Moorhead 2-0 in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game Sunday at Nemzek Soccer Field.

The Peacocks' Haley Ramberg scored at 16:46 on an assist from Liv Wildeman, and Katie Samuels scored at 54:28 on as assist from Leah Willenbring.

MSUM's Mckenzie Ickert got off two shots and Allison Tharp, Ava Kieser, Jacie Osier and Mason Kimble had the others, with Osier and Kimble putting theirs on goal. Goalkeeper Kayleigh Sedlacek made five saves.

The Dragons are 1-11 in the NSIC and 1-14 overall. They play at Minnesota Duluth at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29.
